PART 1: VAGINAL BIRTH TO THE DELIVERY OF YOUR PLACENTA
Start your journey with a quick glimpse into the types of hospital labor and postpartum rooms and their differences. Continue with reviewing what happens the moment your baby is born including newborn stimulation, delayed cord clamping, cutting the umbilical cord, and skin-to-skin contact. We also discuss what to expect if the NICU team is called in. Finish up with umbilical cord blood banking, delivery of the placenta, turning off the epidural and unexpected scenarios.
