About Me

MY PASSION BEGAN

Hi!  My name is Juliana.  I am a married to my best friend, Chris and am a mother of 3 (girl, boy, girl).

In the year 2000, at the age of 31, I decided to return to school for a 2nd career in nursing.  Being pregnant in school and taking an anatomy class was not a good idea.  I literally walked out of class in tears while “The Miracle of Life” was being played.  I was completely terrified.  I will NEVER forget that fear!

A few months later, in January 2001, my daughter Hanna was born and I am forever grateful that all went well!  I was officially a new mother!  But my fears did not end.  Now my fears involved taking care of an infant.  That was an entirely different kind of scary!

Two and half years later, and almost just as scared, in 2003, I gave birth to my son, Mitchel.  This labor was different.  It was harder and faster.  I endured more pain, but thankfully, my labor nurse, Pat, helped me so much!  She made a huge difference in my experience and his birth and Pat are what helped me decide to become a labor and delivery nurse.

19 years later, and one more girl, Adison, born in 2012 (yes if you do the math, I was 43 – so fears about that), my passion remains helping expectant parents.

I started teaching classes in 2004 and have enjoyed helping over 10,000 expectant parents over my years.  My class goals are clear cut!  Reduce fears – eliminate surprises!  You should know truly what to expect.

I will never forgot the fear I felt when I was expecting my first and I think the reason my classes are so popular is because I keep that in mind when teaching.

In addition, my 19-years of in-hospital experience, helping over 4,500 women have babies, and teaching over 10,000 expectant parents, allows me to answer any and all questions.  I provide you and your partner with the most important, relevant and honest information you can find in any prenatal class!

Get ready to feel better!  I look forward to helping you get ready for the arrival of your little one!
